Description
Overview
This UHF RFID Tire tag is intended for embedding into the tire mould prior to the manufacture and curing of the tire. The tag protocol is ISO 16000-6C or EPC class 1 Gen 2 with 192bits user memory. It survives high temperatures encountered in the tire curing process and is sturdy enough to remain operational throughout the life of the tire. It offers a read distance of up to 1m or 3 feet when embedded into the tire and provides a flexible construction to withstand tire deformation. The tag can be built into truck tires that can be recapped several times.
Key Features
- 860 to 950 MHz frequency range for worldwide application
- Positively tested under the most difficult conditions in Nascar racing cars
- Ability to read and write user data into tag’s internal memory
- Factory pre-programmed tag identification number is unique to prevent cloning
